welcome back to simcity oauoffline and unleashed ok first i have to say is .. wowyour response to the first episode was unbelievable i had no idea just how much enthusiasm youguys still have for simcity. and a huge thank you for all the likes andthe amazing comments love you guys.and it was great to see so many names poping up that i hadn't seen in a whilei'm really looking forward to hanging out with you all again.and i have been paying attention to what you've been saying.so for example i had a couple of comments about the new intro,so that's now shorter and a lot less red!
see? i do listen to you.right, it's time to get to work. there are so many things to get through ithard to know where to begin. but i'll start with answering another questionthat came up several times, about the mods i'm going to be using. will there be a list of mods?yes there will. but not just a list.i've taken all the mods that i'm using and i've put them into a mod pack.so, introducing skyepack 1.0 the modding community put together a packwhich they released on friday night. which includes all the latest versions ofthe mods that they have been developing.
i've taken that pack and added a few extramods which i think are important to have as partof a basic mod pack. so for example danny's camera modwhich really helps when you're using the bigger maps.and of course my very own multi-plopper which franklyi can't live without now you can download skyepack from skyestorme.comthere's a link in the video description. and on the website you'll find a completelist of all the mods that are included in the pack.and it's dead easy to install. just click a button to download the skyepackzip file.
extract the files into your simcitydata folder.and that's it! easy as pie.all the files have an 0sp prefix so it's easy to find them if you need to updateor remove them. and of course i'll be adding new mods to thepack as we go through the series i'll let you know in each episode what modsi've added and i'll update skyepack to include them.i'll also keep up to date with any new versions of the mods already included. ok cool now it's time to get to the mods themselves.before we can start building
it's important to understand exactly how someof these new mods work some of them take a bit of understanding andthere is limited documentation so far so i'll be taking you through them, as andwhen we start using each one. and don't worryi'll be gentle with you. so we're going to start with bigger maps - project orion.
